Heat Power class field trip @ Etiwanda Generation Plant

hello people.
sekarang mahu pamerkan gambar-gambar yang telah diambil masa field trip kelas Heat Power hari tu. kami seramai ~15 orang (sesi lab pagi) sampai di Etiwanda Generation Plant lebih kurang pukul 9:30 pagi, some 30-45 min drive dari sekolah. kami disambut oleh salah seorang pekerja di situ; beliau juga merupakan ex-student Cal Poly yang telah direkemen bekerja di situ oleh Prof Miller, lecturer Heat Power kami :D

time kami field trip ni, plant ni tak beroperasi sebab demand untuk electricity adalah rendah (time ni weather stabil; tak ramai guna heater, tak ramai guna air-cond, etc.). maka kami tak dapat tengok banyak mesin bergerak ari tu, but still the lack of sound pollution adalah lebih baik untuk buat tour kat sini. heheh.

sebenarnya nak tunjuk damper (aka shock absorber?) yang pegang these pipes and stuff; dampers tu berfungsi untuk kurangkan tension kalau berlaku earthquake and such.

and the trip ends~
then a few of us pegi makan tengah hari kat In N Out.
insiden menarik : kami 4 kereta telah potong 4 lane terus-menerus sebab hampir tersalah masuk junction. sekian.
