21 November, Jumaat :

mereka sampai Pomona dalam pukul 7-8, picked me up, pastu geraklah ke San Francisco.

Hang Tuah yang mengikuti perjalanan ke San Fran.

malam tu tido kat Motel 6.
for some time, kunci kereta telah disalahletak, dan sedikit ke-saspen-an telah berlaku.
fortunately tiada apa yang serius berlaku kerana ia berjaya ditemui beberapa minit selepas itu.

22 November, Sabtu :

えぃ、おはよー。
selamat pagi~

pagi tu pergi breakfast kat Denny's, depan motel je.

see, didn't i tell you i get my humor from Mama?


morning faces never looked so fun, eh.


ah, sebenarnya tulis "good morning" kat situ.


DON'T TOUCH MY ROCKET mwahaha.
my drink, chocolate milk.
adik-adik saya pun tak mintak drink roket ni.
sampai waiter tu pun kata : "you're not a kid!"
so whaaat. i want it.
but the waiter is uber-friendly.

mewah gle breakfast, takleh blah sungguh.

lepas breakfast, teruskan perjalanan sampai San Francisco.
i dunno what happened on the way cuz i slept like a rock.

tau-tau je, bila bukak mata, nampak background bangunan-bangunan macam kat San Francisco (macam?). kira, San Francisco-ish buildings.
oh yeah WE'RE HERE.

a blimp!!

sangat excited bila tau dah sampai SF, sampai sekeliling sume nak ditengok -- kalo kpale boleh pusing 360 darjah, memang dah pusing banyak kalilah, nak take in everything.
it's so different than LA, Pomona apatah lagi.
the buildings are nicer there.

masa pusing-pusing tu nampak a lot of stuff, like a railway track (haha jakunnn), street performers, weird art-ish statues, a bridge (not Golden Gate tho), a lot of people walking, students on skateboards, people walking their dogs, stuff.
i already want to live there.

kitorang tak terus check in hotel, instead kitorang ke Pier 39 kat Fisherman's Wharf.
Fisherman's Wharf adalah salah satu tempat wajib pergi kalau ke SF.

masuk je area tu, kitorang in time untuk stage show.
i think in this picture here he's performing with the Diablo.

this dude's name is Greg Frisbee, dan dia adalah sangat hebat bermain api dan juggling.
for his final act, he balances himself while eating fire.
serius tak tipu.

around Pier 39 tu ada banyak gift/souvenir shop dan kedai makan.
Hard Rock Cafe boleh dijumpai kat bahagian entry to the pier, dan akuarium terletak berdekatan dengan HRC.
a lot of stuff to see~

juga ada tempat boleh nampak Alcatraz Island, pulau yang dulunya pernah jadi penjara, juga dikenali dengan nama The Rock.
see how Azzad holds the island.


The Rock will be served shortly.


kat Pier 39 juga boleh tengok seals.
semua anjing laut ni memang suka melepak kat sini.

lepas rasanya dah abes tengok mende kat Pier 39, kitorang pegi laa mencari tempat katne nak naik tram, another attraction of SF.
penah tengok George of the Jungle? George pernah naik tram dalam cite tu, haha.
anyway, kitorang kira bernasib baik sebab takyah tunggu super lama untuk naik. queue kitorang tu cukup je untuk the next tram yang akan datang.
sorang dicharge $5 untuk one way.

sebenarnya yang best naik tram ni, kalau korang dapat diri kat luar/tepi, sebab baru boleh tengok segalanya ngan penuh perasaan best. plus korang boleh tengok sendiri kecuraman mukabumi SF ni dengan mata sendiri.
bukan nak kata kalau duduk dalam macam biasa tak dapat tengok, but the feel is different.
seriously, the roads here are almost all crazily steep.

memula masuk tu kitorang tak dapat duduk luar, kena masuk dalam.
ah well what the heck kan, as long as dapat naik tram ni.
tapi lelama tu, as people got off at places, kitorang pun cepat-cepatlah tukar tempat kat luar.
dapat jugak merasa berdiri kat tepi tu. hoho.

setelah bertukar termpat duduk ke luar.

tram tu bawak kitorang lalu kawasan Downtown (or was it Uptown? what's the difference anyway?), tempat shopping yang nampak sangat mewah dan lively, orang ramai jalan-jalan.
(i like to watch people, so what)
but since we're not here to shop so we just passed by there without any intention to remember the place that much. haha. (bunyinya sangat kejam)
btw, kalau naik tram ni, dapat rasa jalan yang curam, dan tengok sekeliling korang how the road steeps up/down, serius seram okeh.

tunggu train/bus (i have no idea what it is, really) untuk balik ke Fisherman's Wharf.
i just realized, this place really feels like a city, a modern one, i can't explain why...maybe it's just me.


ah, ada jalan nama 'Ellis', dan saya tau Elly penah amek gambar kat situ.


dah dapat naik bas/train tersebut.
(bus + train = brain...?)

of course lah kitorang makan crabs, and crabs only XD

sebenarnya nak tunjuk huruf 'W' sebab nak letak kat post pasal birthday Wafiq ari tu, but for some reason it doesn't show a proper 'W' eh. so i dropped it.

lepas kekenyangan ngan saratnya, kitorang jalan-jalan pegi tengok souvenirs.

thankfully i didn't get you this, eh.


salah angle laa, patut amek dari atas -- sebab memang cawan ni separuh bulat je. haha.

lepas round-round the pier again, then decided untuk check out the aquarium there.
since we had no plasns for anything either, so we (minus Papa) went to get tickets.
strategi orang akuarium tu sangat licik, letak souvenir shop kat entrance masuk akuarium. what the, weh. haha.

so in we went.

memula ada ruang 'pameran' mende-mende biasa je, in separate tanks, like a tall cylinder one yang ada this one huge group of fishes only, then in another ada corals, in another pulak other corals.

it's so...girly, the corals in this tank.
do corals have gender?

lepas tu kitorang masuk this one AWESOME tunnel place which houses fishes and marine life yang hidup kat this one certain place (dekat ngan jeti? air cetek? entah laa tak ingat).

officially my number one shot of our SF trip.
macam takde barrier langsung antara Mama ngan ikan-ikan tu.

basically, starting from that pic, terus melonjak naik perasaan nak amek gambar kat dalam akuarium tu. serius kitorang (= me + Azzad) bising gila, siap berlari-lari nak kejar ikan itu ini, sume untuk amek gambar. orang tak ramai pun, tu yang suka ati buat tempat tu macam tempat sendiri.
ketam-ketam yang kitorang makan awal tadi tu boleh induce super-hyperness ke?

lepas abes touch pool tu, maka berakhirlah sudah trip akuarium tersebut.
fakta : Nadia suka masuk akuarium camni, maka kalo nak buat trip ke mana-mana underwater aquarium, sila cuba ajak Nadia.

sesudah keluar dari akuarium tu, pegi HRC jap nak carik tshirt yang Elly pesan untuk abang de.

siap baring, gilalah adik akuuu.

dah settle sume kat Pier 39, kitorang pun ucap bye-bye.
sesape yang nak buat trip ke SF, jangan lupa singgah sini.

bayar tiket parking.
since kitorang makan kat salah satu kedai makan yang 'participate', maka kitorang dapat price reduction sket. huahaha.


SF pada waktu malam.
sebenarnya lagi cantik dari gambar ni (nampak apa je pun kat sini).
sori takde gambar yang lagi jelas.

kitorang navigate carik hotel (Homewood Suites, Hilton).
the night scenery is beautiful, i like eeet.
sampai hotel, check in, then masuk bilik, kemas-kemas sume.
pastu tukar bilik sebab paip kat singki rosak.
after everything settled down, memasing pun lelap.
