today, May 2nd (one day late for Malaysia time, sorry), is the 10th year since our beloved hide left us. without giving a proper goodbye, our dear pink-haired guitarist breathed his last in a hotel room in 1998.
leaving behind a legacy, he gave us his wondrous music, and he taught us to be who we are. he was a great man, he kept producing awesome works, even inspiring young artists to become who they are now.
his fans, many of them didn't get to see him in person, although having this big regret, still will always hold him in their hearts. he might have been extremely happy to know that there are still people who love him, no matter his condition, with life or without.
so to hide, the man who has inspired many, and who has revolutionized the era of music, we say thank you and we love you, forever, always.
to the man who we will never see with our eyes, but always will be seen in our memories.
