tension relieved bit by bit.
...then bangun pagi...pergi lagi umah Lee nak tengok progress projek kitorang.
takde laa siap lagi rupanya. aku pun try nak solve a few problem and some details, but still cam tak larat jugak. maka...decide pergi Health Centre.
jalan cam orang tak betul je. kat front desk Health Centre tu, taktau nak kata "what's wrong with me" so aku just kata sore throat since memang betul pun sore throat, in fact since like a week ago. a few minutes lepas aku tunggu nama aku kena panggil. buat a few tests and stuff (throat swab tak best!! but i made it through!!), then the doctor tanya aku perlukan surat mc untuk any classes ke today.
serius aku cakap, memang rasa tak larat nak buat apa-apa ari ni. and i doubt i can even stand properly masa presentation nanti.
so i said "yes, i'll appreciate it."
then aku dapat surat mc, and my only prescription should be Tylenol, and since i already have painkillers kat umah so i went home with surat mc je.
sampai je umah, baring kat sofa, pass surat mc kat Lee and wished him good luck for the presentation and said i'm sorry cuz wasn't able to help much.
my first surat mc in US. wahaha.
then, all day, i just lied there in front of the tv sampai lewat petang.
malam tu pergi umah Lee lagi, nak ambil balik laptop and my stuff yang ditinggalkan semalam. on the way balik beli Gatorade since senior Hadi kata tu memang ubat yang baik untuk demam and stuff.
oh and Lee told me their presentation was kinda good, in fact kinda better than before. i was happy for them. haha.
a little happier than yesterday.
